The 2018 Disability Pride Brighton festival was planned by a Committee of disabled individuals, who have consulted on the accessibility of the event, as well as worked with professional event organisers to help ensure that the event is fully accessible.

The festival was wheelchair accessible, have BSL interpreters, a Changing Places loo, several other accessible toilets, a quiet area, an accessibility tent run by the LGBT Community Safety Forum, St John’s Ambulance, and a listening ear service.

Disability Pride Brighton also partnered in 2018 with Brighton & Hove Buses in order to offer accessible transport options for disabled participants and people travelling with and supporting them to travel to the festival.  More information on accessible transport can be found here.
